EXERCISE FOR BODY AND SOUL
Beginning February 7, 2026 Join us Saturdays at 6 pm at Mistletoe Elementary School Cafeteria -1225 Mistletoe Lane, Redding
SoulShape is the name of an uncoventional weekly Saturday night fellowship for body and soul, put on by Christformation Fellowship of Redding. We are organizing now and plan to start February 7th. SoulShape is a new kind of church combining exercise for the body and the soul. But the highest emphasis is on the well-being of your soul.
SEE US ON FACEBOOK. COMING SOON TO INSTAGRAM & OTHERS
SCHEDULE: It will be each Saturday evening at Mistletoe Elementary cafeteria. It will begin with an exercise session for stretching and relaxation. (We will supply a mat if you don’t bring one.) The exercise class will include spiritual encouragement by the instructor. After about 40 minutes we will have a break for drinks and snacks so people can get to know each other. Then we will have a short service that will include worship music, a short message, reflection and ministry time. If you don’t want to exercise, you can take in the music or come at 6:45.
We are highly committed to the healing of your whole self, especially your heart. Pastor Phil is experienced in inner healing ministry and spiritual counseling and would like to help you. You may call or text him at 530 356 0296 with questions or to schedule a time to talk.
Our highest priority is to help transform you into the mature image of Christ, in other words, to help you become a mature disciple of Christ. This happens in the heart where God develops the fruits of the Spirit, the character of Christ, so you can enjoy God and be his light. And, we believe this is best done in a friendship community where we are all honest and committed to each other’s “Christformation.”
1 Timothy 4:8 (NIV) “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”

- We are passionately pursuing God as he makes us like Jesus and unites us with Him in love. We are committed to your soul’s health and will help you any way we can.
- Join us! Bring friends! You are invited if you: are curious, are a seeker, want purpose, are hurt or disillusioned by church, want individual guidance, want peace, want heart healing, want authentic Christian friendship, or want to become like Christ.
- (We will supply a mat if you don’t bring one. Gym clothes work best. You can just take in the music if you don’t want to exercise.)
- Ephesians 1:17-19 (NIV) “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.”

Our Mission
Our mission is to become like Christ and recover the image of God that was damaged in the Garden of Eden so we can glorify God by being fruitful and united in love with him and with his followers as he makes us into a new creation community, which he will perfect in the next age. We will seek to gather others into this community.
What We Want To Be
We want to be a congregation that is relational, safe, holistic and transforming. We will focus on living out the teachings of Jesus individually, congregationally and in society. Our fellowship will passionately pursue healing hearts, mutual edification, the power of the Spirit (with accountability) and leadership by example. We will seek out and attract those who seek God. We will pursue a deep understanding and application of Scripture, especially the major themes.
We place an extremely high value on Christlikeness, especially honesty, love, joy, peace, transparency, humility, holiness, honoring God above all others, friendship, the way of the Cross of Jesus, biblical collectivism, rationality, equality, reliability, integrity, and hoping in the next age when Jesus returns.
